 What is a hook-up?
Briefly speaking, it is the business phase between construction and start up, which refers to all the necessary activities or operations that are required before the first oil in a production unit platform such as FPSO or Fixed platform.
More specifically, it can be divided into tasks above sea and below sea.
Construction of the remaining tasks or offshore items that need to be installed after arriving on the spot, or installation of riser, cable, etc. Where jacket is installed, the module is mounted and the operation of connecting related utilities can also be included in HOOK-UP.

The Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) will be taken place between construction and start-up, kind of work could be classified to be hook-up and commissioning. The hook-up is
