The current state of the ‘ollowing-out’of manufacturing in Korea is at the same level as in Japan in the early 1990s. Policy measures may be needed for the specific sectors where ‘ollowing-out’is abnormally accelerated. However, in overall evaluation, so called ‘ollowing-out’may not be a critical issue in Korea yet.
